Molten Chocolate Cakes

Some friends of ours came up for dinner out and dessert at our place earlier this week, and my quick solution to dessert was Molten Chocolate Cakes - one of my mom's favorites!

4 1 oz squares Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
1/2 c butter
1 c powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
6 T flour

Preheat oven to 425. Butter 8 souffle dishes or muffin cups.

Microwave chocolate and butter for 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar, which in eggs and yolks. Stir in flour.

Bake 13-14 min for souffles or 8-10 min for muffins.

Lots a'happening!

It has been a busy month on the adoption front! We received our final government approval on this side of the ocean and just heard yesterday that the boys' embassy appointment has been scheduled (this is one of the last steps on their side of the ocean) so we should expect them home about the first week of March!

As I write this I'm finding it necessary to take a deep breath. Holy cow, our children are going to be here soon!

We are so excited to hold them in our arms, tell them how our hearts have longed for them during our adoption journey. We are so excited to provide for them a loving home, a bed to sleep in, food for their bellies, and clean clothes. We are excited to be parents to two children and look forward to see both how God will use us to show them his love and use them to refine both Bobby and I.
